ALBA BERLIN is the basketball club with the most members in Germany and can look back on over 30 years of history. In addition to the professional division, which is managed by ALBA BERLIN Basketballteam GmbH, ALBA BERLIN Basketballteam e.V. stands for its great commitment to youth work and a constantly growing grassroots sports program. Driven by a strong desire to be effective both in sport and socially, ALBA BERLIN is shaping sports education at more than 175 schools and 50 daycare centers in Berlin and Brandenburg. In 2020, the club took over the independent sponsorship of an all-day school in Berlin-Wedding. With numerous state and privately funded sports education concepts, ALBA BERLIN gets people of all ages moving. The common goal is to actively and positively shape society - in Berlin, in Germany and beyond.
